PTA Position Statement
Dear Sunnybrook Families,
On Feb. 17, 2009, the Sunnybrook School District held a special program at its regularly scheduled PTA General meeting in which there was a presentation by Dr. Majchrowicz about the School District # 171 Referendum FACTS for the property .30 tax rate increase that will be on the April 7th, 2009 ballot.
The Sunnybrook School District # 171 PTA GENERAL MEMBERS, having had due notice of a position vote going to be held on Feb 17th, voted unanimously as a local PTA entity to SUPPORT the School District 171 Referendum that will be on the April ballot.

The What's Best for Sunnybrook Kids Committee is hosting Public Forum sessions about the School District 171 Referendum on the following dates:
Wednesday, February 25th -at 6p at the Lansing Library
2750 Indiana Avenue
Downstairs in the Community Room.
Monday, March 9th – 6 p.m. at the Lynwood Library
Monday, March 23rd – 6 p.m. at the Lynwood Library

PLEASE JOIN THEM TO DISCUSS SCHOOL DISTRICT # 171 FACTS, PLANNING FOR THE FUTURE FOR NATHAN HALE AND HERITAGE STUDENTS, THE APRIL 7TH, 2009 REFERENDUM BALLOT QUESTION, AND COMMUNITY IMPACT.
